pothole at Bayan Lepas…

I wonder how many cars were actually being victimized by the pothole, on me way to my work place at Bayan Lepas…

it cost me RM50 to have it fixed. Luckily, it wasn't cracked and far beyond repair (knocking)… otherwise, it would have cost me even more, you do the math, a new set of this sport rim~ RM7.5-8k, my used one, RM3k.

Well, the damage has been done and there is nothing much that i can do now except lodging police report and waiting for a body knocking (yes, the body frame was deformed abit) repair work.

I have to wait for ~ a month before i can flirt with my KNN again… I am gonna miss my KNN, dearly… :"(

Well, this is the consequence of harrassing my KNN….

It has to be towed away, eventually…

Good Reputation

IF YOU HAVE SOUND CHARACTER, YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU GENERALLY DO NOT WORRY ABOUT YOUR REPUTATION.
Thomas Jefferson once said that a majority is one man with the courage of his convictions.

If you have the courage that comes from the sincere conviction that you are a person of sound character, an honest, dependable, kind, and caring person, you will never have to worry about what others think of you.

If you know in your own heart that you are a good and decent person, you can meet life's challenges head-on and without fear of what others think.

On Defeat…

IT ISN'T THE TRADING DEFEAT, BUT RATHER YOUR MENTAL ATTITUDE TOWARD IT, THAT KICKS YOUR ASS!

There are many things in life that you cannot control (especially the Market), but you can always control your attitude toward them.

Defeat is never permanent unless you allow it to be so.

When you have a positive attitude, you will recognize failure for the impostor that it is and realize that it is really a learning experience, a valuable lesson that will help you succeed with the next attempt. Ask yourself: What could I have done differently that would have altered the outcome? What can I do in the future to minimize problems and mistakes? What did I learn from this experience that I can put to good use next time?

If you approach obstacles and setbacks with a positive attitude, you will be surprised how quickly you can turn defeat into victory.

Positive mind

A POSITIVE MIND FINDS A WAY IT CAN BE DONE. A NEGATIVE MIND LOOKS FOR ALL THE WAYS IT CAN'T BE DONE.

Someone once said, "There are no truths; there are only perceptions of truth."

Whether or not you accept this statement, whatever you believe to be true will become your reality. Your subconscious mind will believe anything you tell it-if you repeat the words often and with conviction.

When you are faced with a daunting task that you've never attempted before, focus on the potential for success, not on the possibilities for failure.

Break the job down into smaller elements and tackle each one separately. The only difference between success and failure in any job is your attitude toward it.

The quality of the questions we frequently ask ourselves will directly reflect on the quality of our life. When i get pissed/frustrated/down, i will ask myself one or some of the below questions that the answers will eventually help to redirect me back to my own track…
…Joy of Life, Pleasure of Learning and Growing, Making a Difference.

1.What am I most happy about in my life now?
What about that makes me happy? How does that make me feel?

2. What am I most excited about in my life now?
What about that makes me excited? How does that make me feel?

3. What am I most proud about in my life now?
What about that makes me proud? How does that make me feel?

4. What am I most grateful about in my life now?

5. What am I enjoying most in my life now?

6. What am I committed to my life now?

7. How do I love? Who loves me?
What about that makes me loving? How does that make me feel?

8. What have I given today? In what ways have I been a giver today?

9. What did I learn today?

10. How has today added to the quality of my life or how can I use today as an investment in my life?

The Problem Solving Questions
1. What is right/great about this problem/day?

2. What is not perfect yet?

3. What am I willing to do to make it the way I want it?

4. What am I willing to not do to make it the way I want it?

5. How can I enjoy doing the things necessary to make it the way I want it?

The question that i am asking myself now (no, neither am i pissed nor frustrated)…

What have I given today? In what ways have I been a giver today?
This is it! This set of empowering questions…

You got it? And have you found your answers yet? :)

Think Freely

YOUR MIND IS THE ONLY THING YOU CONTROL EXCLUSIVELY. DON'T GIVE IT AWAY TOO FREELY THROUGH USELESS ARGUMENTS.

You may spend your time and your energy-both physical and mental-in pursuits that yield the greatest return on your investment, or you may fritter it away on activities that will never bear fruit.

Since your mind is entirely your own domain, you may choose to use it to constructive ends, or you can waste mind power-and time-on useless arguments that go nowhere.

There is a vast difference between a spirited intellectual debate and a petty argument. When you discuss concepts, your own knowledge is expanded through the interaction with another thinking person. When you allow yourself to be dragged into arguments about insignificant things, the result will be a dulling of both the mind and the spirit.

A feedback from a mentor and friend.

Posted here just to remind myself and hope it serves as an inspiration to you all as well.

Dear James

Thanks for your feedback.

When you develop a Positive Mental Attitude, you immediately set yourself apart from the crowd.

You become a leader because positive thinking leads to positive action, while negative thinking leads to apathy and inaction. When you take the initiative in any situation, others will follow simply because they like to associate with people who know where they are going. In order to lead, however, you must first be willing to discipline yourself…

The first rule of leadership is never to ask others to do what you are unwilling to do yourself. You can lead only by example.

Being a leader requires you to work harder and longer than the others and proving you are the master of your own destiny.
